33rd Annual Student Advisors' Conference

Friday, March 3, 2017
Lister Hall Conference Centre, University of Alberta

The Student Advisors’ Conference provides participants the opportunity to enhance their professional skills and become familiar with new challenges and initiatives at post-secondary institutions across Alberta. This year’s theme of "Creative Engagement: Connecting and Strengthening Communities” focuses on using better communication strategies to facilitate and create stronger advising communities.

Featured Keynote Speaker

We are pleased to announce our keynote will be the University of Alberta's Vice-Provost and Dean of Students André Costopoulos. Learn more about our keynote

Academic advisors and other front-line student service personnel are crucial links in the early alert system. They are in an excellent position to identify at risk students and to help them. The keynote will discuss where advisors fit in the system that helps at risk students.
